Join us for Kids or Adults Classes at The Potter’s House.
Pottery Classes
Kids Classes:
Kids- 1hr classes Wednesday’s 1:30pm-2:30pm or 4:30pm to 5:30pm this course gives kids the opportunity to experience A variety of pottery techniques. Each month they will complete three different projects. Using techniques like slab hand building, pottery wheel throwing , texturing designing and a variety of different glaze finishes.
We follow a monthly schedule with projects changing each month. No regular classes during the months of July, August or December.
1st Wed -Hand building
2nd Wed- Wheel work
3rd Wed- Students choice
4th Wed – Glazing

Monthly Saturday Kids Workshop
Drop your kids off The first Saturday of every month at 1:30pm (unless reschedule due to holidays) for a fun afternoon of creating with clay! They will follow step by step instructions to build the class project. Then they’ll do some accent glazing and finally, choose a glaze colors to have their pieces finished in. The pieces will stay here to be fired. You will be notified of project pick up at the end of the class.

Adult Classes:
Adults – 5 Week Wheel Course
Tuesdays 9am-11pm or
Saturdays 10am-12pm
We focus on centering and height, trimming and altering and cups and bowls. Each student will learn about different finishes and will glaze their own pieces.

Daytime Pottery
2nd Tuesday Monthly
Join us Tuesday afternoon 1:30 pm at this Handbuilding workshop. We will be utilizing an assortment of texturing tools, stamps and simple skills to follow step-by-step instructions in creating each month’s project. Glazing takes place the fourth Tuesday of every month at 1:30 PM . Smaller class size, so space is limited. Tickets are non refundable.

Wine & Design
2nd Friday every month.
Join us Friday night from 7 PM to 9 PM for a short wheel demonstration. Then enjoy a free glass of wine and follow step-by-step instructions on creating your own variation of this month project. Glazing takes place the fourth Saturday of each month at 1 PM (additional cost). Space is limited. Tickets are nonrefundable.

Pottery Wheel Teaser
Last Friday of every month
Sign up the last Friday and give the pottery wheel a try. Each sign up will get a 50 min lesson about working on the pottery wheel. You will watch the live demo then hop on and give it a whirl yourself. Guests will create 1 vessel. After your piece has been thrown, finish it by adding some colored slip to decorate it. Leave your piece to be dipped in a clear or complementing glaze and fired.

Birthdays, teambuilding, ladies night, couples events, homeschool groups, or for any celebration, we offer Pottery Parties in our studio up to 13 people. For larger groups we can bring pottery to you! Contact us for more info.
